Jess Watson

Responsibilities: I’m the Project Administrator here and provide support to the Head of Operations and the mentoring teams. I also manage the external hires for the building and am happy to help with anything else that needs doing!

Previous Experience: I worked as a Secondary School teacher at a couple of local schools as well as in London for a number of years where I taught English, Humanities and Sociology. My last role was as a Practice Manager at a Landscape Architecture practice.

Likes Mentoring Plus because: It’s a wonderful charity to work for as they make such a huge difference to the lives of many young people and their families in the local area. My job encompasses many different areas so it keeps me busy and the team here are all really friendly, welcoming and supportive.

Good at: Having a clearout

Not so good at: Finishing one job before starting another.
