Minister Visits Mentoring Plus Easter Activity

We were fortunate to host a visit yesterday 8th April 2021 from Civil Society Minister, Baroness Barran. Over the past year the Government through the National Lottery Community Fund and through Local Giving matched fund supported over 15,000 organisations. Mentoring Plus was delighted to receive over £10,000 in funding last year as part of the Covid funding – much needed during an unpredictable year for fundraising.

The funding enabled us to meet increased demand for our 1:1 mentoring services, ensuring that no young person was left behind due to the pandemic, and helped us adapt our services.

We were proud to have been able to provide consistent support to local young people during challenging times and giving them their best chance of hope and happiness.

We were delighted to host the Minister Baroness Barran during our Easter holiday activities – where young people can come together and have fun, something they have missed out on and is key to our values.
