Bath 5k Map Launch

Join us on World Mental Health Day, Tuesday the 10th of October, for a 5k walk from the map with Off the Record and Annie Legge who developed the map as a tool to build community, encourage access to the outdoors and enable more time offline to support mental health and wellbeing. It has been beautifully illustrated by Bath Based illustrator Ellie Shipman.

Mentees celebrate 25 years of Mentoring Plus with a film called Shoulder to Shoulder

Should we be celebrating our 25th year?

Children and young people are facing challenges that didn’t even exist 25 years ago. Be under no illusion: needs are sky high. We need far better understanding of educational needs, sensory processing difficulties and existential anxieties this generation are coping with. And far more resources to support them, in our service, in others and most of all in schools, trying their best in tough circumstances.

Celebration Event

We’d love our community to join us at Riverside Youth Hub to enjoy an exhibition of our young people’s creativity, plus a chance to join in with some communal art, activities, refreshments and fun. We’ll be introducing Shoulder to Shoulder, a short film made by our mentees and youth club members.

Bath MP visits Mentoring Plus at their riverside youth hub

This year we are celebrating 25 years of inspiring young lives and supporting young people. Last week Wera Hobhouse came to visit us at our youth hub, she shared insightful disscussions with Ruth, our CEO and Becki, the Community Manager.

On the 7th April the team at Mentoring Plus had a rather unusual request. We were asked to play football against a team of teachers from Somervale Secondary School - but we had to wear our pyjamas!
