Outdoor activities

Bath City Farm is a local community farm in Twerton. Animal food costs 50p per bag and you can enjoy feeding goats, ducks, horses, pigs and chickens. After a walk around the farm, enjoy the fantastic café (open Tues-Sun), which is located next door to the play area. 

Alexandra Park has incredible views of Bath, a great play park, and ping pong tables which you can use for free (we can lend our mentors some). On a Friday The Choux Box Patisserie parks up selling the most delicious choux buns and hot chocolate. 

Midsomer Norton Cricket Club have some cricket nets which you use can use for free. Get in touch to arrange your visit. 

Indoor activities

Roller Skating is back at Bath Pavilion on Monday and Wednesday evenings 4.30-6.30pm. £6.50 per session and skate hire is £1.30 per person.

Prior Park Garden Centre has a fantastic pet selection including turtles, iguanas, tarantulas and fish. After exploring, head upstairs to The Secret Garden café, which has both indoor and outdoor seating.

Dragonfly Leisure Centre in Writhlington (Radstock) has an indoor climbing wall, with auto-belay, which is perfect for beginners. Tues + Wed from 8pm, Thurs + Fri from 6:45pm. Booking essential. 

B Block Pizza is in the St Monica’s Trust building in The Old Fry complex in Keynsham and is open to the public. B Block Pizza serves food and drinks all day and into the evening.

Bristol's immersive 'Amazement Park' Wake the Tiger is back and has expanded to include a brand new 2nd floor. Mentors get in for free as a 'carer'. Please use this option when booking.

Volunteer Mentor benefits

Frome Boulder Rooms have designated climbing areas for children and young people. Mon - 12pm-9pm, Tues-Fri 10am-9pm. Sessions: £5 mentees, £7.50 mentors + free shoe hire. Please register before arrival and show your Mentoring Plus ID when you pay.

Mentoring Plus HQ - Riverside Youth Hub - our Bath youth hub has a music studio, pool table, air hockey, Xbox, basketball court, and a kitchen for you to cook in. Mentors can book the space for free. To book please contact your practitioner.
