Thanks to the generous support of a local donor, and in partnership with Boys in Mind, we're launching a new weekly activity group on Tuesday evenings for boys aged 11-14.
Supported by male volunteers, attendees will be encouraged to get involved with fun activities each week, from cooking to bushcraft, and work on projects together over the course of 19 weeks (in term-time).
With reports, including Lost Boys by The Centre for Social Justice, revealing that a generation of young men is being left alone with complex challenges, we're proud to be offering a new safe space for connection, skills development, confidence building, fun and support from positive male role models.
Can you volunteer with us and support our boys’ group?
We're looking for kind and open-minded male volunteers to support the group every Tuesday, 5:30pm to 7:30pm (in term time), for 19 weeks from the Autumn.
This is a new volunteer opportunity, one that will make a huge difference and be great fun too! No experience required, all you need is a willingness to try new things, have some fun, listen, and be kind.
Interested? Get in touch and sign up for our free October training (Saturdays 3 and 10, 10am-4pm).
If you know someone who would be interested in joining the group, please get in touch. We can tell you more about it and let you know when the first session will run in the autumn.
