A new leadership lunch series, Inspiring Leaders, will launch in Bath next month, with Anna Edwards, Managing Partner at EPP Global, confirmed as keynote speaker.
Organised by Mentoring Plus, the new bi-monthly series will provide a welcoming space for local professionals to gain insights from inspiring regional leaders while building meaningful connections.
Following networking and a light lunch, Anna will reflect on her 25-year career spanning advertising and marketing, headhunting and consultancy. She will also share insights from her role as the only female co-owner of sports performance and senior leader recruitment consultancy, EPP Global.
In addition, Anna brings extensive experience from her work as a permanent tutor on the FA’s Technical Director Course and Focus Sport Education programmes. She also serves as a guest lecturer on the League Managers Association’s Diploma in Football and as a Technical Expert for FIFA.
Local professionals are invited to attend the lunch on:
Thursday 19th March, 12:30pm-2pm at RWK Goodman in Bath
Tickets cost £20 per person, including lunch, with all proceeds supporting Mentoring Plus.
Lead organiser of Inspiring Leaders, Lou Oldfield, who recently joined Mentoring Plus as Development Manager following her role as Head of Philanthropy at the University of Bath, said, “We’re delighted to launch Inspiring Leaders with Anna as our first speaker, and we’re incredibly grateful to RWK Goodman for supporting our inaugural event.
Our ambition is to create a welcoming, high-quality space where Bath’s professional community can connect, learn and be inspired, while also supporting a vital local charity.”
Paul Daniels, Managing Partner at RWK Goodman and Trustee of Mentoring Plus, added, “We’re thrilled to be supporting the first Inspiring Leaders lunch. As a business we are focused on our people and their development, so we recognise how valuable spaces for connection and shared learning can be.
It’s especially meaningful for this event to support a charity that makes such a difference to children and young people in our local community.”
With only a few weeks to go until the first Inspiring Leaders lunch, local professionals are encouraged to book their place as soon as possible at mentoringplus.net/events
Experienced leaders interested in speaking at future events, or businesses keen to sponsor or host the next lunch in May, are invited to contact Lou Oldfield at louisa.oldfield@mentoringplus.net
