Young people aged 7-11
Mentees aged 7-11 are referred directly by Primary schools or through the Primary Inclusion Panels, which represent primary schools across Bath & North East Somerset. If you’d like a 7-11 year old to be considered for volunteer mentoring in future, please speak to the child’s school headteacher or SENCO.
Please contact our Primary Mentoring Manager Humphrey.pain@mentoringplus.net for more details.

Young people aged 11-21 (-25 with SEND diagnosis)
Young people aged 11-21 (up to 25 with SEND diagnosis) can be referred by a professional, parent/carer or by the young person themselves.
We operate an application to refer process for this service at regular periods throughout the year, and do not hold a waiting list.
If you are thinking about referring a young person when we open again please read our service overview and referral checklist to ensure volunteer mentoring is an appropriate service for them.
Please email if you would like to be added to the referral list and be advised of when we are next open for referrals.
