Weekly Youth Clubs at Riverside

Our free weekly youth clubs for 11-18 year olds run during term-time at our Riverside Youth Hub in Bath. Run by our experienced Youth Workers, here's what we have on offer:

Art Club | Wednesdays | 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM

Art Club is a calm and quiet space to explore creativity, perfect for young people who prefer smaller gatherings. Our arty and crafty youth leaders run a supported session, and are always open to ideas for new things to make, paint and create.

Youth Club | Thursdays | 6 PM - 8 PM

Our Youth Club Leaders, Amy and Sonny run a relaxed weekly youth club, and it's a perfect space to hang out and have some fun. Play fussball, jam in the music studio, cook in the kitchen, game on the Xbox, or just come to hang out.

Activities for mentees

Weekly Youth Clubs – open to all young people aged 11-18

If a young person is currently being mentored, we can help arrange transport to our Thursday youth club. Please reach out to our Practitioners or mentors to discuss the details.

Group outings for mentees

For our primary-aged mentees, we offer an exciting range of group activities during school holidays. Recent outings have included visits to Bath City Farm, exploring Mr. Doodle’s exhibition at The Holburne Museum, and enjoying forest school sessions in Greyfield Wood with Eco Wild.

Whether attending our weekly youth club or joining a holiday outing, every young person will be supported by our experienced team. There’s no pressure to participate in activities they’re not comfortable with – the focus is on creating a positive and inclusive experience.

Participation groups

Many of our mentees want to stay connected with Mentoring Plus even after their mentoring year ends. A great way to do this is by joining Youth Reps, a group for young people aged 14+ that helps co-design our activities and shape our services.

This group meets every Monday evening during term time. Together, we collaborate with local community groups and projects, take part in fundraising efforts, advocate for young people’s needs, and represent the charity – all with our team’s support. We also make time to chat, share food, and look out for each other.

Transport is provided, so if you’re interested in joining Youth Reps, please get in touch with our Practitioners or your mentor to let them know!
