Fundraising Manager
Responsibilities: As Fundraising Manager, I lead on securing income through trusts and grants, working closely with our fundraising and communications team to ensure we meet our annual targets. I also help shape our overall fundraising and communications strategy.
Previous experience: I’ve worked in the charity sector for over 18 years, mainly with local youth, housing, and community organisations. Before joining Mentoring Plus, I was Fundraising Manager at YMCA Brunel Group and set up a project providing emergency accommodation for young people in housing crisis. I’ve also worked directly with young people, offering mentoring and support - which gives me a real insight into the importance of the work we do.
Likes Mentoring Plus because: It’s a genuinely values-led organisation, and I love being part of a team so committed to making a difference in young people’s lives.
Good at: Grant writing, strategic thinking, and building meaningful relationships.
