Since 1998, our volunteer mentors have helped show over 500 young people a positive path forward, helping them cope with life’s challenges and feel happier and more confident.
These young people have kept out of trouble, re-engaged with education and training, found work and contributed to community in their turn – some by returning as mentors themselves.
Our work has saved this community all the costs of what might have happened otherwise. With your help, we can continue.
Mentoring Plus’ work is supported by major charitable grant funders including BBC Children in Need
Influential patrons and friends help Mentoring Plus promote the needs of young people to supporters and volunteers
Community events like the Bath Half Marathon encourage local giving and involvement
There are many, many more young people who need this help. We need the support of our community to carry on helping our young people to thrive and fulfil their potential.
Just one quarter of our annual operating cost is covered by fees for mentoring services commissioned by Bath & NE Somerset Council. For the rest, we rely on the support of grant-making funds, and donations and fundraising by local people and organisations, as well as income from other paid services.
