Bath Marches

After a challenging year our young people and their families need us now more than ever

Each year we take part in the brilliant Bath Marches and we are asking as many of our community as possible to get involved in the event which takes place on Saturday 3rd September 2022. You will have fun walking and help us raise vital funds to support our frontline work with young people and their families along the way.

You can enjoy;

  • 4mile or 9mile & 15 mile marked routes

  • drinks and snacks along the way

Key Information

Date: Saturday 3rd September 2022

Start time: This will depend of the route you take

Cost: Between £10 and £25 depending on the route you choose

Registration: Please email Jenny if you are interested in taking part. 

Starting and finishing in the centre of Bath, the event comprises of 3 challenge walks or “Marches” of 4, 9 and 15 miles including snack stops. Marcher’s Medal for those who opt for one as they cross the finish line.

Food and drink will also be available.

This event is open to all

  • Friends, families, and individuals keen to take on the challenge
  • Corporate and charity teams
  • School teams

Whilst the route follows established footpaths, the terrain presents plenty of challenges and good levels of fitness will be required by all those taking part. Dogs are also welcome

Depending on the length of the route you are doing, there will be different start times

15 mile March - 0830am

9 mile March - 10.00am

4 mile March - 10.30am

You can meet members of the Mentoring Plus team who will also be walking. 

There are plenty of rest points, a chance to have a drink and enjoy some snacks along the way. Also interesting points of information and history is offered by the Bath Marches Team. 

You'll meet lots of other walkers and see parts of Bath you didn't know existed before. 

When you finish your walk there will be warm welcome, a medal if you chose to receive one and some cold drinks and a place to put your feet up !
