The aims of the shop can be defined into three key points:

1) Personal emotional / social  development of young people.

2) Improving the employability skills of young people.

3) Raising the profile of MPlus.

The long term aim will be to open on a more permanent basis, and use the shop to provide a safe, happy working environment for vulnerable young people. This also has scope for being an extra revenue stream for the organisation.

By week two we had moved onto the task of creating a budget, and making an early rota. The young people have so far shown great enthusiasm, and been able to transfer a plethora of amazing skills to good use!
