With a last minute tweak to what we had planned, we used the meeting to process what happened the week before – this allowed us to keep all the Youth Reps informed of how it went and to raise any key points that weren’t brought up.
On a massive positive note, we managed to raise our first sizeable chunk of money towards the Social Enterprise – Who’d have thought a pair of discarded decks would add £150 to the coffers?!
Onto week two and the momentum showed no sign of letting up! We warmly welcomed the kind help of Pete Wilder to take our manifesto to the next step – the session was spent collecting thoughts and concluding what was the best design to mass produce. The team decided to amalgamate two of Pete’s suggestions and capture the key words:

And a big congrats to the volunteers of Mentoring Plus who won an award at the Chairmans Awards last week! Our Youth Reps were in attendance and thoroughly enjoyed the evening.
