We’re an effective and ambitious local charity which delivers mentoring and activities for vulnerable 7 to 21 year olds across Bath and North East Somerset. We’re delighted to be advertising a new role to enable us to safeguard and build sources of funding from our community.
Our vision is a community in which all young people thrive. Our mission is to inspire our community to raise the aspirations of our young and most vulnerable. Our model offers young people a mix of one to one mentoring from local volunteers with a wide range of positive activities.
Since 1998 our young people have been telling us they are happier and more confident from spending time with the project. We are proud to have delivered a commissioned service for the local council for over ten years, alongside primary and secondary schools buying in our programmes.
With your help, we will continue to inspire local young lives.
To support the organisation to maximise unrestricted funding from new and existing sources in the community and to positively influence the community’s awareness and perception of the charity.
This is a self-starting, hands-on role working in a small and committed team to promote the charity, its impact and the need for our work in the local and regional community. There’s the opportunity to shape a new role in a friendly and committed team, using creativity, efficient delivery, event management and communications skills to find and maximise opportunities to bring in much-needed unrestricted funding.
