Help us fund an exciting new project

We know how much our young people value their community supporting them. Many teenagers struggle in the classroom due to poorly met needs or difficulties at home, and homework suffers too.

As part of our commitment to reaching as many young people in needs as possible within our resources, we want to pilot a homework club in Bath, and we need your help.

We will provide a welcoming setting where teenagers can study and revise after school. Inspired by US model 826national.org, local business people, university students and community members will be encouraging role models, helping young people in their community to reach their potential. Qualified youth workers would also be on hand to ensure young people feel supported.

Support from adult volunteers with completing homework not only helps young people achieve at school but also engages them in thinking about how learning applies in the workplace. Those supporting young people will be investing in their community and our economy’s future workforce.

Help us now with a one-off or direct debit donation, between 18th October and 17th November 2016 and your support could be doubled by Localgiving as part of their Grow Your Tenner campaign.

What your gift could provide:

£10 – healthy snacks and drinks for a group of young people at a homework club

£15 – one hour of youth worker time at a homework club

£25 – resources for a group of young people at a homework club

Thank you for any donation you can provide! If you’d like to find out more about volunteering or getting your organisation involved, please email us.
