Thanks to the kind generosity of Herman Miller, we spent the weekend sprucing up the 117 garden. Despite some horrific weather, spirits remained high and lots of young people and volunteers alike were able to offer their time and muscle power. The obligatory offerings of pizza & jacket potatoes were incentive enough.
Now we have a resplendent two tiered garden, with easy access pathways for our young people to enjoy, without fear of a pair of size 9’s squashing the the marrows! In addition we have some tyre planters, several planting boxes, trellis and a well constructed terrace, which I’m sure will bring many years of joy.
Thanks to all that took part.
