Freelance Youth Groups Assistant opportunity

Mentoring Plus offers regular activity group sessions to young people alongside mentoring, helping young people to try new things, build confidence, make new friends and connect with the community. We’re also committed to youth participation, and our award-winning Youth Reps advocacy group meets weekly in term time to represent young people, plan activities, promote youth interests more widely and gain valuable employability skills.

We’re looking for a skilled, confident freelancer to support our regular youth groups, by arranging and providing car transport to and from Youth Reps venues for young people throughout Bath & NE Somerset.

Groups are usually one regular evening per week in termtime. We need someone flexible to offer driving and support subject to demand from group participants. This role also involves in-group support for the delivery of regular, weekly groups for young people aged 12 to 21 years, outside school hours.

You’ll need access to a safe, reliable car seating at least 4 + driver, with full business insurance and a full clean driving licence. Pre-agreed expenses are paid.
